Our founder and Artistic Director, Emma Crocombe, embarked on a mission to raise funds for a noble cause. With a trip to Bangalore on the horizon to support Limited Resources Teacher Training, Emma concocted a unique idea: a murder mystery event to serve as a fundraiser. Little did she know that this idea would snowball into the creation of London’s most captivating murder mystery company.
The Grand Debut
On a memorable Saturday evening, April 28th, 2018, Play Dead London made its spectacular debut with 'Murder at Big G’s Speakeasy.' This premiere event was a heartfelt nod to Emma’s father, affectionately known as 'Big G.' The success of this night was the spark that ignited our passion for delivering unparalleled murder mystery experiences.
